Nigerian singer and songwriter Banky W has outlined how he met his wife, which has sparked massive reactions amongst fans so far.
Talking about their relationship in recent podcast where he was featured as a guest alongside his wife, he explained how he was able to bag his spouse.
According to him, despite his fame, he wasn’t able to approach her with his clear intention, leading to a broad strategy, which would eventually work out.
Adding to his words, he revealed that before gaining her stance with the nollywood actress, he first of all submitted himself as a fan and friend before diving deep to make his interest known to her. Fortunately, the approach would work, and the rest became history.
His words:
“I was too shy to tell her I wanted to date her—I didn’t even think it would work. So I slid into her DMs and said I’d love to be her friend and biggest fan, and she agreed. I basically put myself in the friend zone because I was looking for my final bus stop.”
The whole time he narrated their link up, his wife was left blushing and admiring him, narrating the view of their strong bond.
