Chelsea defender Marc Cucurella induced a shock into the fans after agreeing to sign with Real Madrid in a recent finalised deal worth over €50 million.
Following Perez recent election triumph, with Jose Mourinho emerging as his manager, Cucurella, was made a top target. However, it came as a surprise as Perez identified that Mourinho needed him amongst the list of the players he would want to compete in the league with.
Several sources have confirmed that Marc Cucurella has agreed to join Real Madrid as the club has also reached his personal term contract.
Chelsea didn’t hesitate to opt to the deal as it’s almost closer to what they bought him. He will join Jose Mourinho as he is keen on embracing another new chapter at Real Madrid.
The move has so far astonished Chelsea fans and struck them with mixed reactions as they try to digest his sudden decision. Perhaps Cucurella and some other bigger names at Chelsea have made it clear that they would leave the club.
Marc Cucurella joined Chelsea Fc from Brighton in 2022 for a record deal worth over €60 million. He would dominate his roles at Chelsea, scoring several goals and recording major European league titles, including Club World Cup.
