Cristiano Ronaldo’s FIFA World Cup campaign didn’t turn out as planned, following a draw game with DR Congo last night.
With an intense expectation, the match began with a medium performance with both teams going forth at each other.
The first goal came as a sensational goal from Neves, who converted his chance with ease in the 7th minute of the game. This would be equalized by Congo’s striker Wissa with a superb header at the injury time of the first half.
The game continued with an intense approach between the two nations as they strived to attain the winning goal, which likely didn’t come in favor of the two teams.
Both nations shared the points, leaving Cristiano Ronaldo with a toll to cover in his supposed last FIFA World Cup campaign.
The heated phase of fans’ expectations has left the 5 times Ballon d’Or winner in a shambles of pressure as he will be eager to drop a five-star performance in Portugal’s next match.
Several sources are alleging that Cristiano Ronaldo may be Portugal’s problem as they believe he intends to boost his statistics instead of being a team player which may have likely distrupted Portugal’s expected dominance in the 2026 FIFA World Cup so far.
