Denmark midfield maestro Christian Eriksen has once again collapsed on the field of play after yet another health conspired hazard.
The incredible midfielder collapsed on the field while playing against Ukraine in the 64th minute of the game.
While an altercation broke out among the affected nations, Christian Eriksen was spotted holding his chest and struggled with his breath. While the attention slid quite away from him, he slumped and collapsed on the pitch. The medical team rushed immediately for his safety and carried him off the pitch for professional medical emergency.
The game was suspended as they awaited his medical report. Hours later, he was confirmed conscious as he recovered from the sudden attack.
This makes it the second time the midfielder has collapsed during a football game. This transpired on June 12, 2021, during Denmark’s Euro 2020 match against Finland where he suffered a cardiac arrest but was successfully resuscitated on the field.
The cause of his current sudden collapse is yet to be known as fans are currently urging him to consider retiring. Also, football fans have taken to their social media platforms to react massively according to their views.
