Following the view of the tragic death of the Nollywood veteran Alex Ekubo, the real cause of his death has been revealed.
While many stars and civilians are still astonished to the reality, the 40 year old actor passed away on 12th May 2026 after he couldn’t triumph over his illness. This didn’t sieze to conflict speculations and narratives as several statuses committed to mourning him and trying to digest the situation.
In reality, Alex Ekubo, who has been battling liver cancer for several months, succumbed to its complications after he couldn’t defeat it. Perhaps, prior to this, he had undergone a successful liver transplant that defined his fate. He returned to sets and casts briefly before giving back to another dimensional health run; this time, he couldn’t make it back to his consistent run of schedules.
The Nigerian veteran died of two failed liver diseases, including a transplant from a donor.
Since his death struck the main media attention, celebrities and colleagues, including William Uchemba, have offered their sympathetic condolences as the sudden death continue to widespread shock amongst Nigerians.
Alex Ekubo was widely known for his incredible casting qualities after nailing most of his roles, inflicting impossible to perfection. He attained his multi-million mansion in 2023 before dying in 2026.
