During his recent press conference, Donald Trump addressed the view of the situation, pinpointing prospects and vitality as the main reason the red card was overturned. According to him, Florian Balogun and Tarik Muharemović collided unto each, stressing that it was never a red card offense. Admitting to have never been clueless about the rules of a red card offense, he outlined that when enlightened about it, he realized that Florian Balogun deserved no red card.
Adding to his words, he detailed that it would be overly odd to foresee nations’ star players missing out on the big stage because of a red card offense, referencing the likes of Lionel Messi, Harry Kane and Cristiano Ronaldo.
