A new chapter unfolds as Asake unveils his fourth studio album, “M$NEY,” a project that captures his evolving sound and growing influence within the global Afrobeats space.
The 13-track album is largely a solo-driven effort, with Asake taking center stage on most tracks, delivering his signature blend of Neo-Fuji, street-inspired rhythms, and contemporary Afro-fusion. Each track is carefully structured to maintain energy and replay value, reflecting both his creative direction and consistency as a hitmaker.
The project also incorporates previously released songs that helped build anticipation ahead of its arrival. “WORSHIP,” featuring internationally renowned French DJ and producer DJ Snake, appears as the second track, bringing a cross-continental EDM influence into the mix.
Another notable inclusion is “BADMAN GANGSTA,” which features Asake collaborating with French rapper and singer Tiakola and is positioned as track eleven.
Further expanding its sonic range, track twelve, “ASAMBE,” features South African Amapiano heavyweight Kabza De Small, introducing a rich blend of log drums and deep house textures that complement Asake’s distinctive delivery.
Released under his independent imprint Giran Republic, the album highlights his transition into full creative control while maintaining strong mainstream appeal. *M$NEY* stands as a cohesive and engaging body of work, offering listeners a well-rounded experience that is both energetic and replay-worthy.
