Fireboy DML adds another international collaboration to his growing catalogue with “IMALI,” a new track featuring South African artists JAZZWRLD and Thukuthela. The song forms part of the Nigerian singer’s highly anticipated 13-track album, Zuko, where it appears as the sixth track.
Produced by JAZZWRLD, “IMALI” follows “CLAAT!” featuring Jamaican artist Masicka, which was previously released as the third track from the forthcoming project. The two songs highlight Fireboy DML’s continued movement toward collaborations that connect Nigerian music with artists from other parts of the world.
With JAZZWRLD handling the production and joining Thukuthela on the collaboration, “IMALI” introduces another international dimension to Zuko. Fireboy DML remains at the centre of the record, bringing his established Afrobeats style to a production shaped by South African influences.
The track adds to the anticipation surrounding Zuko, giving fans another glimpse into the direction of Fireboy DML’s next project. As the album rollout continues, “IMALI” stands as another collaborative entry in what promises to be a diverse 13-track release.
