Nigerian singer and songwriter Davido has expressed his toll on depression which has left concerned civilians in reactions.
Talking about the emotional turmoil he admitted to have been in the realm of doubt as he had no belief, wealthy people would ever experience depression as they can easily fly to Dubai and enjoy all the money they had bur however, with time, he experienced the same anxiety which unlocked a reality he didn’t sieze to digest.
According to him, emotional anxiety is what many don’t seem to understand until they experience it themselves. With his experience, he explained further about the toll of depression leaving a broad space for inspections and reactions amongst fans.
His words:
“I used to wonder why rich people would say they’re depressed… I’d be like, ‘just go to Dubai and flex”
“Until I actually went through it myself and realized even all those things can be overwhelming”
Nigerians couldn’t hold their nerves and reacted massively on all social media platforms, according to their views.
Davido stands overly tall amidst incredible music stars who have worked overtime to push the Afrobeat genre to the global stage as his effort is way ahead and consistent over the view of his iconic discography.
