Canadian rap heavyweight Drake is preparing to release his ninth solo studio album, “Iceman,” with the project officially scheduled for Friday, May 15, 2026.
The announcement was revealed through a bold promotional activation in downtown Toronto in late April 2026, where fans were drawn into a large-scale ice-themed installation designed to tease details about the upcoming release.
According to reports, attendees took part in a challenge involving blowtorches and pickaxes as they worked to uncover hidden clues embedded within the structure. The event reached its climax when streamer Kishka reportedly discovered a concealed bag containing a booklet confirming the album’s official release date.
As anticipation continues to rise, “Iceman” is already being positioned as one of the most highly anticipated hip-hop albums of 2026.
As a result, the rollout has only intensified public curiosity around the project from Drake.
