The match between France and Sweden kicked off with an intense approach with both nations looking for their peak. The first goal came as an individual brilliance from Mbappe in the 45th minute of the game after he dribbled past the defenders to slide the ball in the back of the net.
This would be followed by Barcola’s 53rd minute goal, which also triggered Mbappe’s second goal of the game that came as a rapid ticki-taker delivered incredibly by Michael Olise.
Kylian Mbappe has continued to outclass his reach in the 2026 FIFA World Cup as his dominance continues to soar France through the knockout phase. They will face Paraguay in their next game.
