“I pay attention to fan’s criticism, it helps me improve my music” – Shallipopi

Nigerian singer and songwriter Shallipopi has confessed to amending anc enhancing his songs with the influence of the fans’ criticism.

While featuring as a guest in a viral podcast, he detailed that fans’ criticism plays a great role in enhancing his musical qualities because he pays attention to them.

According to him, he doesn’t negatively instrospect criticism as he foresees it as a toll to improve his crafts, revealing that he listens to critics.

This he stretched to admitting to have once adjusted and updated his already released music on Spotify over the of the fans’ criticism.

His words:

“I read all the bad comments about me, but if I see constructive criticism, I pay attention to it.”

“Sometimes people tell me they don’t like a certain part of my song, and I’ll ask my producer to rework it — then tell my distributors to update it on Spotify”
