Nigerian street-hop star Danny S presents a spiritually uplifting song titled “Oloun,” featured on his Anthem project. The record introduces a faith-centred side of the singer, focusing on gratitude, prayer, hope, and the importance of trusting God through life’s different experiences.
Released in October 2026, “Oloun” draws inspiration from Yoruba expressions commonly used when calling upon God. Its title reflects the word “Olúwa,” often used in Yoruba to refer to the Lord, giving the song a spiritual foundation that many listeners can relate to.
Danny S’s “Oloun” explores faith, gratitude, and the desire for divine guidance through a title deeply connected to Yoruba culture. Featured on the “Anthem” project alongside “Gbemilo,” the song introduces a spiritual theme that differs from the energetic street-hop style associated with much of his catalogue.
