Multi-talented Nigerian music act and producer KRL Soundz has teamed up with rising Afrobeats sensation Mavo and promising singer and song composer, Kadi to deliver an impressive collaborative song titled “Today.” The song brings together the three artists for a melodic release that blends contemporary Nigerian sounds with a romantic theme.
Released on November 1, 2026, “Today” is featured on the two-track project “HBD,” released by Kilogbede Records Limited in celebration of Mavo’s 23rd birthday. The project also includes “Happy Birthday,” another song featuring Mavo.
On “Today,” KRL Soundz joins forces with Mavo and Kadi to create a song centred on romance, attraction, and the desire to see someone special. The track explores the excitement that comes with wanting to spend time with a romantic interest, giving it a relatable theme for listeners who enjoy love-inspired Afrobeats.
The collaboration allows both performers to showcase their individual styles while contributing to a shared musical experience. Their performances help bring the romantic theme to life, making “Today” an appealing choice for listeners who appreciate contemporary love songs.
