Nigerian Afrobeat diva, Fave, has narrated how she ended up featuring in Davido’s ‘Timeless’ album on the song ‘Kante’.
Appearing as a guest at a popular podcast, Fave revealed that even as how enchanting and dominant the song “Kante” has gone so far, it was actually a failure before Davido found it thrilling.
According to her, before Davido, she had sent the song to many stars, which all turned out odd as they expressed no interest on the song via their choices.
However, when Davido contacted her and expressed his interest with her featuring in his album, the situation changed. According to her, surprisingly, after she sent him her crafts, he chose “Kante,” and the rest became a history.
Her words:
“I had played Kante for a couple of artiste before Davido, but all of them weren’t feeling the song. But Davido texted me that he was putting his album together and I should send my songs, and I did, and he singlehandedly chose Kante”
The song “Kante” emerged to be rated highly amongst Davido’s “Timeless” tracks, introducing the Nigerian incredible singer to global excellence.
Meanwhile, Fave is also adored in the Afrobeat realm as one of the Nigerian vocalists to have struck a massive view of excellence since debuting in the Nigerian music firm. Her attributes bid with the incredible flow of unique musical qualities that have attained her prominence.
