Nigerian singer and songwriter Mr Eazi has recounted how his family religious take forced him to move out of his childhood home.
Featuring as a guest in a viral podcast with his wife, Temi Otedola, the Nigerian business mogul revealed that he was stressed with prayers while he was still living with family.
According to him, his family, especially his mother, would always subject him to partaking in their morning devotion that ruined his mood. He outlined that the praying section would take so much time to the phase that he would even resort to being late at school. He recounted that his teachers also flogged her for failing to be puntual too so he hated the morning devotion and couldn’t wait to exit home.
His words:
“I angrily left my parents’ house at 15 because I was tired of my mum forcing me to do morning devotion every day. I kept getting late to school and getting flogged because of it ”
